Pet Photography in Plymouth

Yes! Birthdays aren't just for humans. A Dog Cake Smash is a fun way to celebrate your dog's birthday with a themed studio setup, a dog-friendly cake and plenty of personality-filled photographs. Whether it's their first birthday or another special year together, it's a brilliant way to celebrate your four-legged family member. 

You can either bring your own dog-friendly cake, or I can arrange one for you. If you're bringing your own, please make sure it's suitable for your dog and let me know about any allergies or dietary requirements beforehand. 

Yes, we offer professional retouching and editing services to enhance your photos. This includes color correction, skin retouching, and other adjustments as needed to ensure that your photos look their best.

Pet photography sessions usually last approximately 1 hour. This gives your pet plenty of time to explore the studio, settle into their surroundings and have breaks when needed without the session becoming tiring. 

Dogs make up most of my pet photography sessions, but other pets are very welcome by arrangement. Please get in touch before booking so we can discuss your pet and make sure the studio session will be suitable for them. 

Absolutely. You're very welcome to be included in the session. The relationship between you and your pet is incredibly special, and photographs together often become some of the most treasured images from the session. 

Yes. Multiple dogs can be photographed together and individually. Please let me know how many dogs you'd like to bring when booking so I can make sure enough time is allowed for your session. 

That's absolutely fine - I don't expect dogs to behave like professional models! Sessions are relaxed and we'll work with your dog's personality rather than forcing them into positions. Sometimes their unexpected expressions and behaviour create the best photographs. 

Please let me know before your session if your pet is nervous or anxious in unfamiliar surroundings. I'll give them plenty of time to explore the studio, become comfortable with me and settle before we start. There's never any pressure to rush them. 

Yes! Please bring plenty of your pet's favourite treats. They're incredibly useful for getting their attention, rewarding them and encouraging them throughout the session. 

Absolutely. Favourite toys are welcome and can help your pet feel more comfortable in the studio. They can also be incorporated into some photographs if you'd like. 

Bring your pet's lead or harness, plenty of their favourite treats, a favourite toy and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. You're also welcome to bring any special accessories or meaningful items you'd like included in their photographs. 

Definitely. Puppies change incredibly quickly, so it's a wonderful time to capture their tiny features, expressions and mischievous personality before they grow. You can always return for another session when they're older to see just how much they've changed. 

Absolutely. Senior dog sessions can be particularly meaningful. They celebrate the years of companionship, familiar expressions and special bond you've built together, creating photographs that become incredibly precious. 

Yes. Pets are part of the family too and can be included in Family Photography Sessions by prior arrangement. Please let me know when booking so I can plan the session appropriately. 

Yes. Your selected photographs are individually hand edited before being presented in your private online gallery, ready for you to view and download. 

I recommend booking in advance, particularly if you need a specific date or weekend appointment. If you're planning a birthday or Dog Cake Smash, booking early also gives us time to plan the session and any theme you'd like.
