Family Photography in Plymouth

Family sessions usually last approximately 1 hour. Larger family groups may need additional time to make sure we can photograph everyone comfortably and create a good variety of images. Extended session time can be arranged for an additional cost. 

Immediate and extended families are welcome. If you're planning to bring a larger family group, please let me know when booking so I can advise whether additional session time will be needed. 

Absolutely. Grandparents are very welcome, and multi-generational photographs are a wonderful way to bring the whole family together and create images that become even more precious with time. 

Yes. During your session we can create a variety of combinations, including the whole family, parents with children, siblings, couples and grandparents with grandchildren. The number of combinations possible will depend on your family size and the time available. 

I'll provide guidance before your session to help you choose clothing and colours that photograph beautifully together. You don't need to dress identically - coordinating colours and styles usually creates a much more natural, timeless result. 

Yes. Sibling sessions can be booked without parents being photographed. They're perfect for capturing the relationship and personalities of brothers and sisters as they grow. 

My creative Box Sessions are a fun alternative to traditional family portraits. Each person is photographed individually or in small groups inside the box setup before the images are combined to create one unique finished piece showing everyone's personality. 

Yes. I offer seasonal and themed photography sessions at selected times throughout the year. These can vary from year to year, so keep an eye on my website and social media for upcoming sessions and booking dates. 

Yes, pets can be included by prior arrangement. Please let me know when booking so we can plan the session appropriately. I also offer dedicated Pet Photography Sessions if you'd like the focus to be entirely on your four-legged family member. 

That's absolutely fine. Children aren't expected to sit perfectly and smile on command throughout the session. I'll work with their personalities and allow them time to relax, helping us capture natural expressions and genuine family moments. 

Of course. If you have a particular idea, meaningful item or photograph style in mind, let me know before your session. I'm always happy to discuss how we can incorporate something personal while keeping the finished photographs consistent with my style. 

Yes. Your selected images are individually hand edited before being presented in your private online gallery, ready for you to view and download. 

I recommend booking as early as possible if you need a particular date, especially for weekends and around busy seasonal periods. If you're flexible with dates, simply get in touch and I'll let you know my current availability.
